Since receiving its charter in 1989, Reepham Rotary Club has evolved its own style within the worldwide framework of Rotary.  We are 27 people who are (or have been) in working in and around Reepham, a pleasant small market town in the heart of Norfolk in England.

We undertake a wide range of charity and community projects, although in recent years the focus has been more on involvement in the local community.  Each year, the incoming President selects a charity to support; this is continued for a second year so that greater continuity of assistance is offered.  The new President, Jim Fraser has selected Rotary Foundation as his charity which will hopefully help us to follow international concerns a little more than has been the case over the years of Covid-19. Rotary Foundation is a highly efficient charity as there are no administration charges so that virtually 100% of any donation reaches the target projects. At present, Foundation is deeply involved in work towards the elimination of Polio as well as the provision of clean water. You can see more of what we do on our charity pages

Above all we have fun doing what we do together, whether it is a community project, a fund raiser or just an event for the enjoyment of us, our families and friends.  All members value the Fellowship enjoyed as being the glue that holds the Club together.

We are happy to apply our skills, experiences and resources to projects that can help people and organisations in Reepham and surrounding villages. If you have an idea about any potential project, please get in touch.

Since the arrival of Covid-19 we have been unable to fundraise as we did in the past.  Initially we set up a “Help Reepham Recover” initiative and took donations via the JustGiving platform.  This is efficient for us as JustGiving doesn’t charge charities for its admin and all donations can be boosted by GiftAid.  Supporters can still help us by making donations to https://www.justgiving.com/rotary-reepham

We also joined the Community at Heart Lottery and many followers buy a weekly ticket that still helps us to receive over £1000 a year from this source.
