Schools activities

Reepham Rotary has a long history of working closely with our local schools to lend our expertise to the benefit of young people.
Youth Speaks
The public speaking skills of our young people will again be put to the test at Reepham High School with the help of Reepham Rotary Club in February. Rotarians will be involved in coaching and judging. We also provide cash prizes and a trophy for the winners. The final is at 7pm on 21st February. Do come along and see some impressive performances.
Interview training
Club members use their business experience to help students with mock interviews and assess business proposals.
As part of the Reepham Food Festival we supported a Junior MasterChef event sponsored by Norse Catering.   The Club awarded prizes of cookery books to all finalists.  More details at
Reading support
We have been asked to provide male role models as reading tutors for young boys at the Primary School who are falling behind with reading. Here is the team learning to read.

Japanese Garden
Reepham Primary School has an association with a Japanese school and have obtained funding for materials to build a Japanese Garden. The Club will be helping with project planning and construction.

Bicycle Shed
Members recently planned and built an extension to the bicycle shed at Reepham Primary School. With plans by Ian Malton and under the supervision of Gareth Homfray-Davies the project was within the scope of our other unskilled members. Thanks to all who gave up their time.
