VIRTUAL BABIESThe Club is keen and committed to support Reepham High School in various projects. Particularly "The Virtual Baby Project". Reepham Rotary has assisted the purchase of two babies, one of which has been used for a year providing girls (or boys) with as true life experience of rearing a baby, with it's many problems, as is possible. This has given pupils a sense of reality and hopefully the experience will make them more responsible during their teenage years, and reduce pregnancies. The reaction from pupils and staff was so positive that we assisted the purchase of a second doll with more advanced features. To see and read in more detail ....... |

THE EXCITEMENT OF SCIENCEThe Royal Institution.NEXT YEAR John Tym and Robert Briggs will be organising another trip to The Faraday Centre for pupils at the Reepham High School. Previously it has been a great success and those that went seemed to get a lot of excitement and fully appreciate the effort John & Robert had put into the day. |
| This years entire event was web cast live on the day and if you enjoyed it as much as I did, it is available for viewing again on www.iet.tv . The easiest way to find the presentations (they are split into 3 sections) is to use the search criteria, ‘Excitement’. |
