We welcomed Prof Claire Jowitt and Julian Barnwell who gave us a fascinating presentation on the history of HMS Gloucester and the work being done to survey and recover artefacts from the wreck. With 100 visitors we were grateful to Reepham College for use of their facilities. We will watch with interest the programme to develop a permanent exhibition in Norfolk. The Club has made a contribution.
