Twenty of us visited the Sculthorpe Nature Reserve to see the work of the Hawk and Owl Trust. David, our guide, showed us the impressive work they have done to develop habitat for a wide range of species. We heard much about the beavers – but didn’t see one – and the careful treatment of meadows and reed beds. Warmly recommended for an afternoon out.
